Attract Customers

You need customers! I know that sounds obvious, and all business owners understand this truth. The point is, as a business owner, you know you need more customers.
The problem is how to get more customers.

This is what has plagued businesses for years: the “how.”

Here is a partial list of what businesses do now to get more customers. You may be doing one or a few of these things now.

Newspaper, Magazine, Local Shopper, Yellow Pages, Press releases, TV, Radio, Direct Mail, Referral, Giving speeches, Giving seminars, Giving away samples, Demonstrations, Coupons, Val Pac, Money Mailer, Card decks, Handing out business cards, Trade Shows, Networking, Knocking on doors, Billboards, Door hangers, Sponsorship, Donate to non-profits, Tel-a-marketing. Of course, there are many more ways to find prospects for your business.

After reading that list, you’re thinking, that’s old school. You are correct, but you would be amazed at how many advertising dollars are still spent on “old school.”

What about the Internet? There will be a lot of information about Internet advertising as time passes.

The hard part is turning a prospect into a customer or Converting More Customers.

You have to spend a lot of money on some forms of advertising. For our discussion, let’s say your advertising worked,
